शिया चांद कमेटी के अध्यक्ष मौलाना सैय्यद सैफ़ अब्बास नक़वी ने लबनान में शहीद शिया रहनुमा सैय्यद हसन नसरुल्लाह की शहादत पर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए कहा की जो लोग करबला की पैरवी करते हैं शहादत उनके लिए मीरास है और वह शहादत से नही भागते।
मौलाना ने कहा नसरुल्लाह की शहादत मजलूमों के लिए बहुत बड़ा नुकसान है क्योंकि हसन नसरुल्लाह ने हमेशा मजलूम की हिमायत में आवाज़ बलंद की है। जिस तरीके से सैहूनी ताकतों ने मिलकर हसन नसरुल्लाह को शहीद किया है यह इंतेहाई निंदनीय है।
